Rays of Light
Brendon has a huge collection of vintage, antique, rare and colourful glass. Some is given to him, some sourced from charity and secondhand shops, and much is found from all sorts of unlikely places.
Brendon cuts up the bottles into shapes that the original form of the vessel and the pattern of the glass indicate. They are then tumbled so the edges are soft and smooth. Some batches come out with a matt finish, which shows up the colours beautifully, and some come out glossy with a sparkle when the light catches them.
Brendon carefully composes each necklace from the shards that come from the tumbler. No two are ever the same. He then grinds a groove into them for the cord, and ties them up by hand.
Please be assured that every edge is smooth and safe against your skin - even the 'toothy' pieces. They sit well on your chest, and with the adjustable cords, can be worn high or low to suit your preference.
